Celtic look set to announce their eleventh summer signing with Anthony Stokes joining the Parkhead club. The Irish international has enjoyed goalscoring success at SPL rivals Falkirk and Hibs, as well as spells in the premiership with Sunderland and Arsenal. His potential £1.2m transfer comes days after Marc-Antoine Fortune rejoined his former club West Brom and will provide competition for Samaras, Murphy and Hooper up front

Celtic move for World Cup right back

Celtic have signed South Korean defender Cha Du-Ri on a two year deal, subject to a work permit. The Korean has impressed in this years World Cup campaign and is available on a free transfer after being released by German outfit SC Freiburg. Celtic's new signing has cast Andreas Hinkel's future in doubt, as reports suggests two bids have been accepted for the German.

Mulgrew Lennon's first signing

Celtic have resigned Chalie Mulgrew from Aberdeen, after releasing Lee Naylor. Mulgrew, who was once used in a deal to sign Naylor, had come up the youth system in Parkhead. After spells in England with Wolves and Southend he joined Aberdeen., before becoming Lennon's first signing.

Jimmy Bullard in talks

Celtic target Jimmy Bullard is set for talks with the Celtic management team over a possible loan move. The midfielder, who recently got relegated with Hull, has recently recovered from a serious knee problem. With hull looking to lower their wage bill, Celtic look to compete with Newcastle United for the signature of the Englishman.

Samaras set to leave

 Neil Lennon's clean up operation looks set to continue with Samaras looking like the next candidate to leave. With Lee Naylor already released, Samaras looks set to follow after both Newcastle and Palermo declared their interest in the forward.
